Day  1   [Ceramic Capital first encounter]

It is recommended to arrive in Jingdezhen by afternoon flight or high-speed train, and the group will be picked up by a special car and guide; then go to the hotel for rest;

Day  2  [History and present of Porcelain Capital]

Morning: Visit the ancient kiln, witness a piece of porcelain from nothing to something (hotel-ancient kiln 20 minutes, visit 2 hours)

Visit the ancient kiln folklore exhibition area, learn about the process of porcelain making, observe kilns in different periods, and understand how a piece of porcelain comes from nothing to something [special lectures by ceramic teachers];

 

Afternoon: Visit Jingpiao Studio

Among the 30,000 Jingpiao in Jingdezhen, this place is more like a holy land of pottery art, gathering many interesting souls; visit the Jingpiao studio, experience the pottery making activity, and get a special gift~

 

Dinner: Specialty kiln food

Yao Gong rice is the working meal of Jingdezhen craftsmen, which is in the form of separate meals. In the restaurant arranged like a cave, you can feel the atmosphere of the kiln workers eating. Just eat~

 

Evening: Imperial Kiln Factory-Understanding the beginning of Jingdezhen (explained by a teacher of special kiln ceramics)

The Imperial Kiln National Archaeological Site is the site of the Ming and Qing dynasty porcelain factories dedicated to the production of porcelain for the imperial court. It is also the longest, largest and most exquisite official porcelain factory in China. The historical remains of the imperial kiln bear witness to the ceramic culture.

Day 3 [Pavilion of Porcelain]

Morning: Yaoli Ancient Town, visit the Jiangnan water town between the porcelain capital (hotel-Yaoli 1 hour, tour 2 hours)

Yaoli Ancient Town, formerly known as "Yaoli", is named after the birthplace of Jingdezhen ceramics. As early as the middle of the Tang Dynasty, there were workshops producing ceramics here. Yaoli is known as "the source of porcelain, the hometown of tea, and the sea of forests".

 

Afternoon: Visit a private kiln and experience painting blue and white with a master ceramic artist (Yaoli-studio 30 minutes, experience + visit 1.5 hours)

Follow the guide to visit the blue-and-white porcelain studio hidden in the mountains. This is one of the few studios in Jingdezhen that still maintains the technique of wood-fired kiln firing. The wood-fired kiln, due to its uncontrollable temperature, produces ceramics with uncertainty, making them even more precious. After the tour, get hands-on experience painting blue-and-white, to feel the charm of timeless blue-and-white porcelain. Use ink-black patterns to outline on a white porcelain plate. Once out of the kiln, the black turns into blue, presenting a landscape of ink-wash in a piece of blue-and-white porcelain.

 

["Ceramic Opening Ceremony"] (A random event, to be scheduled according to the opening time) In the heart of ceramic artists, the opening ceremony is a sacred and solemn ritual. This is not only a tradition in making porcelain but also a reverence for nature and hard work. A piece of porcelain, from raw ore to its final form, goes through countless hands and intricate processes. The studio has always maintained the traditional wood-fired firing method. Opening the kiln is like opening a blind box; all the efforts will be validated at this moment. The opening of the kiln is the most exciting part, with everyone eagerly anticipating the results of each piece;

 

Dinner: A night of exquisite feasts

"Two-sided transparent, it is called Linglong porcelain." Linglong porcelain is one of the four traditional famous porcelains of Jingdezhen. In the aesthetic space of a dining table, it blends art and cuisine. Each starlit Linglong cup transforms porcelain into something more, making the audience feel as if they are in the starry sky, experiencing the rebirth of Linglong porcelain. Rediscover the local charm and experience the unique appeal and culture of Chinese porcelain.

 

Evening: Night walk in Taoxichuan (hotel-Taoxichuan hiking 5 minutes)

The cultural and creative block with ceramics as the theme has a lot of creative ceramics. The night view is very beautiful. The industrial park transformed from old factories has a landmark big chimney, which is a landmark that young people like to check in.

Day 4 [Porcelain Capital]

Morning: China Ceramic Museum, a city of Jingdezhen, writes half the history of ceramics

China Ceramic Museum, the first large-scale ceramic art museum in China, houses more than 30,000 pieces of famous ceramics from the Neolithic Age and various historical periods since the Han and Tang Dynasties,

There are more than 500 national precious cultural relics, including representative works from the thousand-year history of porcelain making in Jingdezhen. Special car will be sent to the station, and you will return by air or high-speed train. The trip to Jingdezhen is over~
